• Beekeeping Data: Hive information, inspection records, observations, and notes you enter
• Photos: Images you capture or upload during inspections
• Voice Recordings: Audio captured when using voice input features (processed for transcription only)
• Payment Information: Processed securely by our payment providers (Stripe, Apple, Google) - we do not store payment card details

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: Features used, interaction patterns, crash reports
• Location Data: Only when you choose to add location to your yards (never collected in background)

How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Sync your beekeeping data across devices
• Process voice input into text transcriptions
• Generate hive health scores and recommendations
• Send inspection reminders and alerts (with your permission)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Provide customer support
• Analyze usage to improve features

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.

The app also stores data locally on your device to enable offline functionality. This local data is synced with our servers when you have an internet connection.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Database and authentication
• Groq: Voice transcription processing
• Stripe: Web payment processing
• RevenueCat: Mobile subscription management
• Apple/Google: In-app purchase processing
• Open-Meteo: Weather data (no personal data shared)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only:

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
